Juan

Since joining FFC as a member in 2012, it has been Juan’s goal to learn how to swim. By learning to swim, Juan hopes to gain a new life skill and to have another way to stay active. At the end of the program, it is Juan’s goal to be able to swim laps on his own with proper form and technique.

Renu

After experiencing an unexpected loss in 2020, Renu is looking forward to turning One Day into Day One with this program. It is Renu’s goal to become physically and mentally stronger by running a 5k or 10k. By participating in this program and completing this goal, Renu hopes to be able to navigate a way forward and to be a role model of resilience for her daughter and family.

Emily

Inspired by her sister’s weightlifting journey, Emily began lifting weights in late 2019. Her goal for our “What’s Your Day One?” program is to squat 180 pounds and bench press 130 pounds. Emily is passionate about the benefits of strength training for women and is excited to see how this program will help her build her confidence.
