Creating awareness about the influence of being overweight in arthritis is crucial to encourage people to
maintain a healthy weight and prevent the development or worsening of arthritis symptoms. Prime Health System educates individuals about the risks associated with being overweight and the benefits of weight loss in order to make informed decisions about daily lifestyle choices. Losing weight can reduce arthritis symptoms, improve joint function, and decrease the risk of joint
damage.
If you are looking for expert care and treatment, we invite you to check out our clinic’s website or contact us at 877-201-3499.

Friendly reminder that if you are wanting to perform incline walking on a treadmill, you will get the best benefit if you do NOT hold onto the handles and lean back. When you are doing this, you are basically putting your body in the same relative position as if you were walking on a flat surface. To achieve the full benefits of walking at an incline, do not hold onto the handles and lean slightly forward – this allows you to target muscles like your glutes, hamstrings, and calves, allowing you to burn more calories with the exercise.
Rush Physical Therapy is accepting patients right here in the club. Contact them at (312) 900-9595.
